Traditional Secretary or Computer Desk

Duration : 36 hours over 6 weeks

Course description:

starting from rough lumber building one of these pieces from solid pine will teach you the following .

• Understanding plans
• Material estimation and rough cut
• Jointing
• Pannel construction
• Planing
• Squaring
• Edge treatments
• Sanding
• Assembly

You will also learn about the proper use of the following tools: tablesaw, jointer, planer, router, sander etc...

This course adresses the general public andthere are no prerequisites.

The cost of the course is $700 + tax wood included and you get to keep the piece of furniture.
